Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets visitors and callers and handles their inquiries or refers them to the appropriate employee. Takes and routes messages. Performs routine typing and generates correspondence. Opens and distributes mail; prepares and mails outgoing correspondence. Sets up organized files for correspondence, ensuring easy retrieval. Operates standard office equipment. May enter data into computer database. May operate a multi-line telephone console. May post and maintain information in public areas. Performs related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Typing speed of 35 words per minute or higher. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Shift: 7:45 am - 4:15 pm every other weekend (Sat-Sun) 5:15 am - 1:30 pm weekdays, as needed for coverage 1:15 pm - 9:15 pm weekdays, as needed for coverage NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
