DESCRIPTION:

Hawkstone Physical Therapy is an established and thriving physical therapy clinic, where positive patient outcomes are the number one priority. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated and dynamic individual to join our team. We are currently seeking a part-time Receptionist/Exercise Therapist . This part time position involves a commitment of 4-5 evening shifts per week (15-20+ hours) with consistent hours on Monday to Friday. The job duties include completing administrative tasks under the direction of the Office Manager and Office Assistant, assisting the physical therapists in patient set ups, teaching exercises to patients, and general cleaning of equipment and the clinic including folding laundry. Training will be provided on the job, however a background in exercise is would be extremely helpfull. Experience with physical therapy modalities and treatments is an asset.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Understanding of communication, patient rapport and customer service with a welcoming and friendly attitude
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and show initiative in completing tasks while working in a fast paced and busy environment
• A background in exercise therapy with a knowledge of exercise technique and musculoskeletal anatomy would be an asset
• Experience working in a rehabilitation setting or a facility that concentrates on exercise, specifically a private physical therapy clinic
• Team player attitude with an interest in further education and comprehensive patient care
