QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar healthcare administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is mandatory
  • Demonstrated selling skills with the ability to promote services in a respectful, patient-centered manner
  • Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive, upbeat demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients in a courteous and welcoming manner
  • Answer incoming phone calls efficiently and professionally
  • Call patients requesting our services
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Process insurance information and assist with billing inquiries as needed
  • Promote clinic services where appropriate through soft selling techniques (e.g., informing patients about additional services, new programs, or wellness initiatives)
  • Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
  • Handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and providing excellent service
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients to ensure smooth clinic operations
