Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist for our lower mainland location to join our team.

In the position of Receptionist reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and employees, and will be responsible for handling inquiries, directing calls, and managing appointments.

You will be accountable for:

  • Warmly greet clients and visitors upon arrival, creating a welcoming and professional first impression
  • Promptly answer the telephone in a warm and courteous manner.
  • Operate a multi-line phone system, efficiently directing calls to the appropriate sales representatives or departments.
  • Welcome on-site customers, determine the nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Perform various clerical and administrative duties as requested.
  • Communicate with inquirers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and effective manner.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about the dealership, in order to be able to respond to inquiries for general information.
  • Answer basic customer inquiries or direct customers to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain the reception and customer lounge area in a tidy and presentable manner
  • Assisting in stocking new and incoming vehicles & post arrived vehicles and also creating stock cards
  • Support the Sales Manager with administrative tasks related to vehicle inventory and function as Sales Administrator as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support dealership operations

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form.
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • The ability to maintain filing systems and basic database systems.
  • Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
