Description Front Desk Receptionist – Full Time St. Clair Country Club is looking for an experienced professional and welcoming Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our membership. Position reports to: Assistant General Manager Hours: Off Season: Wed-Sun 9am to 5pm In Season: Tues-Sat 9am to 5pm Holiday & Weekend Availability is a must in addition to the above business hours. We are a premier private club in the South Hills of Pittsburgh dedicated to providing exceptional service, outstanding facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere for our 850 members and their guests. The Club operates year-round, offering a premier golf experience along with exceptional social, dining and recreational services. Our facilities include multiple à la carte dining venues ranging from casual to fine dining, elegant reception spaces and private event rooms, as well as a swimming pool for members to enjoy. Position Summary The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for the club and its members while handling a variety of administrative tasks, including managing calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating front-desk activities. This role requires a unique balance of high-level hospitality and administrative efficiency. Key Responsibilities Visitor Management: Greet and welcome members and guests as soon as they arrive; acts as a lead concierge, direct visitors to the appropriate meeting room, dining room, or appropriate staff member. Communication: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed. Recording detailed messages and managing general email inquiries. Logistics: Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries. Administrative Support: Maintain front desk security by following safety procedures and controlling vendor access via the reception desk. Reservations: Record and maintain reservations for daily dining and upcoming club events using the ForeTees software. Outside orders: Receive and process takeout orders by phone and online using JONAS POS system. Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable. Requirements & Skills Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), POS system. Hands-on experience with office equipment. Professional attitude and appearance, delivering expectations of excellence. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
