An exciting opportunity now exists for a Full Time or Part Time Receptionist to join our friendly Front Office team here at the Hodson Bay Hotel.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar capacity in a busy hotel with a strong background in Front Office systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Front Office Systems, Opera is preferred.
  • Excellent level of spoken & written English
  • Proven experience of working as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for welcoming guests and acting as their first point of contact throughout their stay.
  • To proactively anticipate the guests’ needs in order to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting the Front Office Team with the day to day running of the desk from check in to check out.
  • Assisting the Front Office Team with the development of the Reception area, ensuring good organisation, effective and efficient systems.
  • To provide the highest level of Customer Service to the Guests at all times and to maximise all opportunities and bookings by way of excellent people skills, product knowledge and closing sales ability.
  • To offer the highest level of guest service in the Hotel, ensuring the highest standards are achieved at all times.
