OVERVIEW

We are seeking a professional and friendly individual to join our team and take on our new role of Pub Host & Hotel Receptionist combined. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, whether they are staying for a few nights or just popping for a drink. Providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the guest experience is the priority.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software, and will work on 5 out of 7 days.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred.
  • Previous experience hosting the welcome desk in a pub/restaurant is also preferred.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, manage inquiries from hotel & restaurant bookings, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised reception area & host area.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Arrange Billing and Check guests In & Out of Rooms
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Help in the restaurant at times
