JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Receptionist / Front of House to be the welcoming face of Mome, our creative café and play space for children aged 0–4. You’ll greet and register families, manage bookings for play sessions, workshops, and parties, process payments, and provide clear information about our programs and memberships. This role also involves supporting events, ensuring smooth check-ins, and maintaining safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience in reception, hospitality, or a child-friendly environment, be confident using booking systems Acquity / Square and POS software, and hold (or be willing to obtain) First Aid and Enhanced DBS certification. We’re looking for someone bubbly, friendly, and highly organised, with excellent multitasking skills and a genuine passion for creating joyful experiences for families.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with Square / Acquity is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
