SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of high school diploma required
  • Successful completion of an administrative/office management program or HR diploma considered an asset
  • Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative
  • Professional maturity and ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to change
  • Strong proficiency with MS products, specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills required
  • Ability to multi-task is essential
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
  • Must be self-motivated and punctual
  • Other languages are considered an asset

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimal lifting is required (30-50lbs)
  • Position requires sitting, standing, walking, and bending on a regular basis

COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities
  • Answering and directing incoming calls in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Answering front door
  • Assisting with on-boarding new hires
  • Upload, manage and maintain digital, electronic, and paper employee files
  • Assist with LMIA applications and TFW program, including Work Permit renewals, SIN renewals and OHIP renewals
  • Assisting with Food Safety, Health & Safety and Joint Health & Safety Committee
  • Assisting in organizing employee events
  • Liaising with internal and external service providers
  • Perform general administrative support work such as running reports, collecting and analyzing information, copying, filing, faxing
