DESCRIPTION: As a Receptionist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll manage front desk operations, playing a vital role in creating positive first impressions while supporting our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you'll manage front desk operations with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring positive visitor experiences while maintaining building security protocols. You'll coordinate administrative support across departments, handle communications, and contribute to creating an organized environment that reflects our commitment to excellence. REQUIREMENTS: • 1 year of experience in a reception or administrative role • Preferred Fields of Study: Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Demonstrated customer service excellence and professional demeanor Experience managing visitor registration systems and security protocols Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment Strong organizational and administrative skills Initiative with ability to work independently Experience coordinating facility services, including catering and meeting room management Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Professional telephone etiquette and switchboard experience Experience processing mail, deliveries, and courier services Adaptability to learn new IT systems and communication tools Collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations Professional demeanor and positive attitude Experience coordinating with external vendors and service providers Knowledge of office supplies procurement and inventory management Understanding of health and safety compliance requirements Ability to manage multiple soft services requests simultaneously Experience with facilities management systems and work order platforms Strong liaison skills for coordinating cleaning, maintenance services Thank you for your interest as you consider starting a new career journey with us.
