Description

Full job description

Murgon Real Estate is growing, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused Full-Time Receptionist to join our team.

We’re a locally owned and operated agency entering an exciting new chapter. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and become an important part of our team and the future of Murgon Real Estate.

The Role

As the first point of contact for our office, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming clients through the door and the helpful voice answering their calls.

This is a varied role where no two days will necessarily look the same. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reception and customer service
  • Answering and directing phone calls and enquiries
  • Managing emails and general correspondence
  • Assisting our property management and sales teams
  • Data entry, filing and general administration
  • Preparing documents and assisting with office processes
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and stationery
  • Completing general office shopping and errands as required
  • Attending to banking and other local business errands
  • Helping keep the office organised, presented and running smoothly
  • Providing professional and friendly service to landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and the wider community
  • Pitching in and assisting the wider team when required

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t necessarily need real estate experience. We’re looking for the right person—someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with people
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Reliable, professional and willing to take responsibility
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • A strong communicator with good attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to see what needs doing and get it done
  • Happy to help wherever needed and work as part of a team
  • Positive, motivated and genuinely interested in developing their skills
