What You'll Do: In the Receptionist role, you’ll be responsible for providing professional and friendly clerical and administrative support in a fast-paced, high-volume lobby to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner, to support the mission of Interfaith Community Services. Receives, directs and relays incoming calls, message and faxes Answers all incoming calls and handles inquiries in a professional and supportive manner Redirects calls as appropriate and takes adequate messages when required Greets, assists and directs clients, residents, and visitors with a smile and in a positive manner, directing individuals to the appropriate staff member Maintains vigilance and awareness of all activity in the lobby area to ensure client and staff safety Maintains an accurate filing system for client files and all general correspondence Performs data entry, including verifying information and resolving discrepancies, in a timely and accurate manner Enters client information into databases accurately and proficiently Restricts entry into the reception area to authorized staff and individuals Provides administrative support to all staff and programs as requested Sorts and distributes client mail Other duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness.
