Our client in Glasgow is looking for ad hoc temporary support to cover holiday leave and sickness when it occurs. These requirements can be for an odd day up to full weeks therefore suit candidates either looking for anything between 2 and 5 days per week but do not need consistent work. You need to be happy to consider this for at least 4 – 5 months but the work is ongoing – just not every week. It is a reception-based role in lovely offices in the centre of Glasgow.
Job Profile
We are looking for candidates who would be available for occasional days up to full weeks on an ongoing basis. This would suit a student with a flexible schedule, someone who owns their own business and just wants to work a few days alongside this, or someone who already has a consistent part time job and just wants to top up. Excellent communication skills and presentation required. We cannot offer work every week so if you need regular part time or full time work this role is not for you.
Responsibilities:
Reception role. Based in Glasgow the main part of the role is greeting and welcoming visitors with a postive and friendly approach. This is a fairly typical front of house meet and great reception role.
Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required:
· Communicating with all clients in the building and greeting all visitors with an exceptionally positive attitude - a welcoming approach is essential and the most important aspect to these roles
· Any previous reception experience would be an advantage but any experience in hospitality or retail could transfer well
· It’s all about you! You need to be professional, automatically smile when liaising with clients and visitors and make them feel welcome and interact with excellent communication skills
No specific experience is needed - these roles could suit anyone looking to build reception experience, but you do need to only want occasional work
Hours: 8 hours per day when required. Sometimes they need 2 – 3 days cover but can on occasion need full weeks. These could be last minute same day requirements or pre-booked dates.
Hours: 8 hours per day working.
Salary: £12.00 per hour
