POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the first point of contact for our customers, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient office environment. This key team member is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and providing essential administrative support to the organization. Success in this role requires an adaptable, meticulous professional who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience: Experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant (preferred).
· Customer Service: Proven ability and experience in providing exceptional customer service.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 or similar office communications systems, and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., scanners, copiers, printers).
· Interpersonal Skills: A positive attitude and determination to build relationships with our customers, visitors, and colleagues.
· Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and address inquiries.
· Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
· Adaptability: A resourceful, proactive approach to handling changes and resolving challenges as they arise.
· Education: High school diploma required; additional post-secondary education in administration or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Office Organization: Maintain the front office environment, including managing electronic files, ensuring documents are organized, and assisting with data entry tasks.
· Collaboration and Support: Serve as a central hub for the office by coordinating with multiple departments to address administrative needs, provide updates, and ensure seamless communication across teams.
· Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve minor issues related to office operations or customer inquiries, demonstrating resourcefulness and a solution-oriented mindset.
· Professional Representation: Uphold the company’s professional image through polished verbal and written communication, as well as maintaining a professional appearance.
