POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk in the door. You will be responsible for managing patient bookings, handling administrative tasks, and supporting our physiotherapists with smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
  • Process patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate patient records.
  • Process payments.
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and general office administrative duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and appointment management.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patients, helping them feel comfortable and informed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Suite, Jane etc.). Jane experience is required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and/or physiotherapy is a plus, but not required.
  • A friendly and professional demeanour with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
