Kenn Borek Air (KBA) is a diversified worldwide aircraft charter and leasing operation. Joining our worldwide team as Receptionist, based in our Corporate Office located in NE Calgary, AB, you will be our guests first point of contact. Reporting to the Controller, this is a fulltime position, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Job Description
The Receptionist is KBA’s guests’ first point of contact. This individual enjoys interacting with people and will have many opportunities to utilize their strong telephone and all-round communication skills. In addition to welcoming guests with a warm demeanor, this position entails proficient computer skills, particularly in managing incoming emails and handling electronic invoices.
Major Responsibilities of the Role:
- Receive calls from all continents and helps to direct inquiries
- Greet local and international guests
- Receive and distribute mail to appropriate department
- Work with courier service providers to obtain the most economical pricing on sending envelopes and packages
- Ensure that there is an adequate supply of Office Supplies
- Ensure confidentiality and exercises tact and good judgment at all times to protect the integrity of confidential information
- Perform a wide variety of administrative support services including Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
- Assistance in planning Corporate events
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an office environment as a receptionist; working in an administrative capacity would be considered an asset
- Previous experience in AP and AR functions an asset
- Strong MS Office suite skills with proficient data entry reflecting attention to detail and accuracy
- Multi-line telephone system experience
- Proven ability to work independently and co-operatively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skill
