Description We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Receptionist. Interview Process Begins Promptly: Tuesday, May 05th POSITION SUMMARY The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the organization, greeting visitors and providing assistance, information, and direction to clients, guests, and staff. This role is essential to creating a welcoming, professional in-person experience and requires consistent presence at the front desk. The position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch break. The Receptionist will collaborate closely and share responsibilities with a fellow Receptionist to ensure continuous front-office coverage and support. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities for this role. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Greet clients, visitors, and guests; identify the purpose of each visit and coordinate appropriate employee handoff • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls related to non-customer service inquiries • Provide front-desk coverage and serve as backup support for the other Receptionist as needed • Schedule appointments and coordinate welcome center events • Receive, log, and distribute mail, packages, documents, and courier deliveries • Maintain visitor logs; issue and manage employee and guest badges; escort visitors as required • Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including filing and basic recordkeeping • Assist with meeting room scheduling and coordination • Run errands and coordinate on-site deliveries as needed • Support the Human Resources Department and Executive Assistant as requested • Manage inventory of LifeWave products and fulfill employee product orders • Plan and coordinate Monday employee lunches and Friday bagel service, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines • Order, stock, and monitor employee snacks and beverages within approved budget • Maintain cleanliness of shared kitchen areas, including weekly refrigerator cleaning • Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or equivalent required • Valid driver’s license required • Demonstrated experience in a receptionist or front-office role • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills • Working knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and office systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable business software • Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively • Exceptional organizational, planning, and attention-to-detail skills • Consistently professional demeanor and appearance aligned with LifeWave standards • Demonstrated flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic • Excellent punctuality and attendance record • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Work Environment & Physical Demands This is a fully in-office position requiring on-site attendance five days per week, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. The expected shift is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including a 30-minute lunch break. LifeWave will operate as an in-office organization, and all employees are required to work onsite in alignment with corporate policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and be mobile within the office. Occasional movement of up to 25 pounds may be required.
