Mikisew Group is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Receptionist.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office environment in an administrative role is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in general office tasks, including filing, and working with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage assigned tasks efficiently

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Administrative Certificate is considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls professionally; take accurate messages or redirect to voicemail as needed.
  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure meeting rooms and common areas are tidy and well-stocked.
  • Set up meeting rooms with necessary supplies and assist with virtual meeting setups.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate logs and directories (visitor logs, mail logs, etc.).
  • Order and manage office and kitchen supplies; operate standard office equipment.
  • Assist the Finance team with scanning, filing, and retrieving documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant and Office Manager.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold confidentiality.
  • Take initiative on process improvements and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned and as may be amended from time to time to meet company/organizational objectives.
