WAGE: $24.00 PER HOUR

The Mission Friendship Centre Society is seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for members, clients, and the public, and provides administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Office administration training and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work respectfully with vulnerable and diverse populations.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity to Indigenous communities.
Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls, messages, and inquiries.
  • Greet and direct clients, members, and visitors.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and filing systems.
  • Assist with meeting preparation and take staff meeting minutes.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate equipment repairs.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and staff.
