Moness Resort is a popular holiday destination located in the small market town of Aberfeldy in rural Perthshire. Situated amidst stunning Highland scenery, the resort offers a range of accommodations, including well equipped family friendly self-catering cottages and hotel rooms, making it a popular destination for couples, families’ and groups. Providing a relaxing retreat where guests can unwind amongst breathtaking surroundings while enjoying a wide range of amenities and activities.
The resort is set in 35 spacious acres of ground. With the surrounding area providing ample opportunity for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, golf and fishing. Within the resort there are leisure facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub. A dedicated Spa with a relaxing range of treatments, from manicures to full body massages, using the latest products PURE, ESPA and OPI.
On-site restaurants and bars and an outdoor terrace offer a variety of experiences from modern and informal family friendly dining through to more intimate and formal (without being stuffy); all offering a delicious choice of tasty local dishes. A very popular destination for weddings and gatherings, we tailor events that will suit a special occasion or celebration. As Receptionist at Moness Resort you will most likely be the first person our guests meet. Playing a crucial role in ensuring that all hotel enquiries and reservations are handled in a professional and courteous manner, whether by telephone, email or in writing. With your warm personality and can-do attitude your role will be vital in ensuring that guests have a memorable and pleasant experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

As a key member of our reception team, this exciting role provides a warm, friendly, professional and efficient service to all our guests. If you have a natural ability to work well within a team and can stay composed under pressure ensuring our high standards are maintained, then this could be the role for you….
You provide information about our hotel facilities, services and local attractions. Handling all guest inquiries and requests. Striving to resolve any issues and complaints promptly ensuring a positive outcome for our guests.
Ensuring the front desk area is kept clean, tidy and well organised throughout your shift, and for the next team coming on shift. Handling all cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
Communicating effectively with colleagues within the other departments throughout the resort. Coordinating guest services and requests ensuring a seamless operation. Collaborating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all the cottages and bedrooms throughout the resort are maintained to the highest standards.
Helping guests and colleagues in emergency situations by using your skills, experience and expertise. Keeping up to date and informed of the day-to-day activities throughout the resort.
