BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

Neera Dubai, a luxury private members club offering world-class dining and experiences, is seeking a professional Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests. The Receptionist will welcome visitors, manage seating arrangements, and ensure a smooth flow within the dining spaces. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as a hostess or in customer service preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially during peak hours.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with reservation management systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the seating chart and coordinate table assignments efficiently using the SevenRooms platform.
  • Maintain an accurate waitlist, tracking reservations, walk-ins, and table turnover times.
  • Communicate effectively with wait staff and kitchen team to manage wait times and ensure timely seating.
  • Assist with phone and online reservations, confirming details and gathering necessary guest information.
  • Keep the hostess stand and waiting area clean, organized, and fully stocked with menus.
  • Monitor the dining room for cleanliness and ensure tables are properly set and prepared.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies for enhancing guest satisfaction and the overall dining experience.
