YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

· Reception experience (essential)
· Strong attention to detail
· NHS experience (desirable)
· Excellent IT skills
· Competent with Microsoft office programmes

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Answering all telephone enquiries , this includes triage calls, GP’s, health centres, practice nurses, A & E, other Hospital Trusts and other Health Care Professionals, exercising independent judgement and initiative in giving out appropriate information and redirecting calls as appropriate i.e. clinic times and types, results access
· Register all patients using the specialised Blithe Lilie computerised appointment system and ensure all patient information is checked at each contact and updated on the patient record (electronic or paper)
· Liaise with Office Manager/Assistant Office manager as required to escalate any day to day issues or problems affecting the service.
· Input all results and demographic information received from Postal Screening Service to EPR
· Processing all results via the texting service
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
