Department: Bolton CAMHS
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm/9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Teams & Outlook)

Responsibilities
  • To meet and greet clients and visitors to the service and notify the appropriate member of staff.
  • To take responsibility for taking initial client contact details in an outpatient setting.
  • To act as an initial point of contact and deal with telephone enquiries from external agencies, clients and other members of staff in a professional and sensitive manner, communicating messages where necessary, without delay to the appropriate individual.
  • To process incoming and outgoing correspondence and distribute accordingly without delay, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • To make telephone bookings as requested (for example: clinic appointments, meeting rooms, patient/staff travel).
  • To provide responsive administrative support to the Admin Team, including duties such as copy typing, photocopying, e-mailing on behalf of the team, sending and distributing faxes, filing etc.
  • Be responsible the timely inputting of referrals and discharges on to the computerised clinical record system.
