Description

C&O Apparel, based in Burnaby, is a leading apparel design and manufacturing of casual sportswear and technical activewear. We are passionate about what we do, and it shows in the quality and value of every piece we produce. We are current seeking a full-time Receptionist/Office Assistant to join the administration team.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screening, directing calls with a multi-line phone system, taking messages and ensuring they are passed to the right staff.
  • Welcoming visitors and alerting staff when their visitors have arrived.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mails, courier services and packages receiving and deliveries.
  • Monitoring office supplies, placing orders as needed and tracking inventory to avoid shortages.
  • Assisting administration team for office services such as cleaning and maintenance.
  • Managing the reception area’s safety and cleanliness standards, and the availability of the meeting room.
  • Scheduling appointments, coordinating maintenance services, booking and updating calendars.
  • Coordinating internal and external events.
  • Assist the administration team with clerical tasks and support other staff members as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years related experience is preferable.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills
  • Good communication skills with a pleasant and mature personality.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications and office equipment.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
