Victory Life Church  Receptionist REPORTS TO: Campus Administrator CLASSIFICATION: Full-time   ROLE SUMMARY This role provides front desk and administrative support by serving as a welcoming, friendly first point of contact for all who enter or call, while managing communications, facility scheduling, and daily operations with accuracy and accountability.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Greet visitors as they enter the building.  Notify the party the visitor is meeting with so they have time to prepare for the meeting, and assist the visitor in finding their way through the building as needed. * Answer and route incoming calls in a timely, hospitable, and professional manner. * Receive and sign for deliveries and distribute packages to the appropriate staff members. * Manage location credit cards, including checking them in and out, ensuring proper use according to Accounting policy, collecting receipts, and submitting documentation to Accounting in a timely manner. * Schedule and manage room requests across the facility. * Order and maintain office and printer supplies as needed. * Assist with general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned   VLC POSITION ATTRIBUTES Pastoral Leadership – “I lead through shepherding.”   Provide spiritual and emotional support through presence, counseling, visitation, and encouragement LEVEL REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: NOT REQUIRED.   Spiritual Leadership – “I guide through discipleship.”  Foster growth in Christ through teaching and mentoring. LEVEL REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: MEDIUM     QUALIFICATIONS * Administrative experience preferred.  * Strong organizational skills required.  * Good communication skills required.  * Basic Computer skills required. SALARY STATEMENT * Compensation for this position is generally structured around $14 per hour. Depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications, the final offer may be above or below this amount, subject to pre-established budgetary constraints   WORK SCHEDULE * 40 hours * Monday-Friday 8am-5pm   COMPLIANCE NOTICE PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS This position involves prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing and walking. The role requires frequent use of hands for typing and operation of office equipment, as well as sustained visual focus on computer screens. Lifting is minimal and generally limited to items up to 10–15 pounds. Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal physical risk.
