Responsibilities

RECEPTIONIST / PA – A KEY ROLE AT THE HEART OF A GROWING LANDSCAPING BUSINESS

If you’re an experienced administrator, receptionist, or PA looking for a varied and meaningful role — this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
This isn’t just another front-desk job; you’ll realise that when we speak.
This is your chance to join a high-end landscaping company in Surrey, where your organisation, communication, and calm approach will help drive day-to-day success — and keep everything running like clockwork.
But let’s be clear…
This isn’t just about answering phones and sending emails. This is a key support role in a fast-paced, design-led business. If you’re looking for a quiet desk job with minimal responsibility, this won’t be the right fit.
But if you thrive under pressure, love variety, and enjoy keeping people and processes organised — keep reading.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT?

We’re not just looking for a receptionist — we’re looking for someone who sees this role as the engine room of the business.
You’ll be the first voice clients hear. The person who gets the team where they need to be. The one who keeps everything ticking behind the scenes — from managing diaries and documents to following up on leads, and ensuring every client receives the highest level of service.
This is a chance to make a real impact in a close-knit, ambitious company.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As our Receptionist / PA, you’ll be the go-to person for all things admin, communication, and coordination.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Incoming Leads – Logging new enquiries into our system and making first contact with potential clients
  • Client Communication – Handling calls, emails, and follow-ups in a professional, friendly manner
  • Scheduling Consultations – Coordinating meetings, site visits, and calendar management for the director and team
  • Diary Management – Keeping everyone on track with clear scheduling and reminders
  • Team Support & Documentation – Updating internal documentation, managing team trackers, and keeping shared records accurate and current
  • Office Administration – Sending invoices, processing orders, chasing suppliers, and maintaining filing systems
  • Showroom & Studio Upkeep – Keeping our studio tidy, welcoming guests, and serving tea and coffee when needed
  • Supplier & Client Liaison – Managing incoming emails and coordinating with clients, designers, and suppliers
  • PA Support – Assisting the director with admin and daily task coordination
