    JOB PURPOSE   The Receptionist will be the first “face” of Company that visitors to the facility will see. This role is meant to serve as our greeter, host and coordinator providing an exceedingly high standard of customer service with a welcoming, friendly and professional attitude.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   * Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner insuring they are comfortably settled; fielding walk-ins appropriately while maintaining security awareness and visitor log. * Field appointments with Executive Team so those without appointments (internally and externally) do not interrupt business operations. * Field all incoming telephone calls; screening telemarketers, etc. and taking messages, as needed. * Sort and distribute incoming mail for all departments along with organizing incoming/outflowing mail with various other company locations. * Helping or organizing bulk mailings, when needed. * Help all office personnel with administrative tasks, when needed, such as making copies, faxing items, etc. * Keep calendars updated for all of the Executive team. * Schedule meetings for Management/book conference rooms, as needed, and organize catering, where appropriate. * Book travel for all relevant company needs. * Order all office products, stock, and monitoring restocking needs. * Insure foyer and break room is always clean, including refrigerator/coffee pots, etc. * Help plan and implement social events throughout the organization. * Serve as Safety Representative for the Headquarter office including safety tracking for the CCO, as necessary. * Run errands for Management, as needed. * Adhere to guidelines and procedures to ensure the safe handling, removal, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials. * All other duties, as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS   * High School Diploma and 2+ years of relevant work experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant. * Experience in all Microsoft Suite products to include Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. * Capable of typing at 40 wpm. * Presentation of person to be polished and professional at all times with a warm and friendly personality. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * High attention to detail.     WORKING CONDITIONS   The work shift for this job is 8am – 5pm with an hour lunch break. The role requires a fair amount of sitting in an open foyer desk in a typical office setting environment.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS   The job requires a fair amount of sitting for extended periods of time with some stair climbing, walking and light lifting of objects on a consistent basis.   DIRECT REPORTS   Not Applicable.   Export Control Compliance Notice This position may involve access to technology or software source code subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Employment is contingent on verifying U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license/confirming the availability of a license exception.
