Description

Alaris Health at Cedar Grove, a 217 bed-skilled nursing facility in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, seeks a per diem receptionist. As the first person our residents and families see when they arrive and the last person they see before returning home, you have an opportunity as the receptionist to make a positive lasting impression and enhance their customer experience. Additional responsibilities include:

  • maintaining directories, coordinating incoming/outgoing mail and answering phone calls
  • providing directions and general assistance,
  • and above all, ensuring that residents and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes each individual’s needs and rights

JOB Requirements:

  • High school degree or GED (college/business school coursework is preferred (as is medical terminology knowledge)
  • Full command of the English language
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Present a well-groomed, professional image and be courteous and tactful at all times
  • Able to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public
  • Per diem: M-F 8-4 pm
  • Occassional weekend and evening work: 4-8 pm
