The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa is hiring a receptionist to join their team. This is a permanent contract, and you will be working 24 hours per week, from Monday to Sunday, 5 days out of 7.
This is a guest-facing position; as a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests at the hotel, making it crucial to create a great impression. The receptionist should be professional, polite, knowledgeable, self-motivated, and helpful, always ready to assist customers with a positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction. Multi-tasking and functioning under pressure are part of the daily routine.We seek candidates who are passionate about guest service, possess problem-solving skills, and take pride in their work. Prior experience with Stayntouch and Lightspeed systems is preferred, but not required.
Learn all aspects and functions of our systems
Know the hotel’s facilities and the area.
Familiarise with the team, for better communication between departments and to know who to go to in case of need.
Be completely knowledgeable of all reception procedures, such as check in, check out, bookings, general enquiries, cash handling and processing payments, etc.
Answer the phone promptly.
Learn about guest relation management and use it in your daily routine.
