This role supports both our patients and clinical staff by providing professional, compassionate, and efficient front-desk service while coordinating appointments, managing patient records, and assisting with administrative duties. The Receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for patients while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. The right candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy healthcare environment. At Werkman, Boven & Associates, our team of Chiropodists and Podiatrists are highly trained healthcare professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive foot care to patients of all ages. Our team is known for being approachable, professional, and friendly - always ready to welcome patients with a smile while helping them maintain healthy feet. Key responsibilities include: Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner Schedule patient appointments to optimize practitioner workflow Invoice patients and process payments Create, update, and maintain patient medical records Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive patient information Chart accurate information regarding patient care Prepare treatment plans and estimates for patients Assist patients with product purchases and inquiries Coordinate with the chiropodist to support referrals to other healthcare professionals and provide patients with appropriate next steps Provide support to clinic assistants when required Contribute as an integral member of the clinical team alongside chiropodists and support staff What we need from you Proven customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Flexibility to meet changing clinic needs Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive patient information Competitive hourly wage based on experience Full-time | [32-36 Hours per week].
