OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist/Private Client Legal Assistant to join our team on a part time basis, 14 hours per week, Thursday/Friday. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to staff and serving as the first point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and proficiency in various administrative tasks.

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience with data entry and clerical tasks in an office environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • A team player, able to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Taking messages.
  • Knowledge of what information is required from the client and ensuring accurate inputting of data onto the computer.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Diary management.
  • Ensure that client records are kept up to date.
  • Observe client confidentiality at all times.
  • To undertake specific training when required to do so and overall to have responsibility towards self development.
  • Any other duties which from time to time are required in other areas of the business as the need arises.
