Description

The role of the Receptionist/Reservations Agent is a fixed term, 6 months, full time contract, to book guests into the Club, to take payments and to advise guests of the facilities available to them. The Receptionist/Reservations Agent is expected to answer any questions the guests may have and to deal with them in a helpful and professional manner.

You will be responsible for:

  • Meeting all guests and dealing with their requirements in a friendly and pleasant manner.
  • To be able to operate all alarm systems in the Reception area.
  • Flexible to work any shift (ie; Late: 2.30pm – 23.00pm: Early: 7.00am to 2.30pm, and some 8.30am to 17.00pm). including weekends and bank holidays
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person on the telephone or via email
  • Administer all reservations, cancellations and no-shows in line with company policy
  • To be aware of emergency, safety and first aid procedures and to report all accidents to the Duty Manager

The ideal candidate should have:

Good IT Skills

  • Previous Reception experience in hospitality preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys motivating the team
  • Good level of English is essential.

Working hours: 40 hours per week
