Bring your exceptional organisational and communication skills to provide effective and seamless reception support to New Zealand’s central bank. Join our collaborative and supportive team 5 weeks annual leave and 15 wellness days Permanent role based in central Auckland Te tūranga – The role As Receptionist, you will be part of the Bank’s Executive support team working collaboratively with colleagues to provide professional reception services for the Bank and building tenants. This includes answering and operating the Bank’s telephone system, maintaining the reception calendar and appointments and managing visitors ensuring they are accurately recorded in the visitor management system. This position requires a high level of reliability and responsibility, as our reception must be staffed continuously from 9am–4pm for security purposes. To support this, you’ll work alongside a Property Administrator who covers breaks and assists during busy periods. This Auckland-based role is part of a wider team in Wellington, we make sure you feel connected through weekly virtual meetings, monthly catch-ups, and quarterly visits from our Workspace Lead. Our reception is a quiet, standalone space, you’ll need to be comfortable working independently. Ō pūkenga – About you To be successful in this role you will bring: Solid experience as a receptionist and telephonist with excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with sound word processing skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure. A flexible and adaptable approach and ability to be proactive and show initiative in your everyday work. A collaborative style and be a great team player, supporting colleagues and providing cover when required.
