POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Receptionist/Salon Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our stylists, maintaining an organized salon, and ensuring that clients enjoy an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, proactive, and organized, with strong customer service skills and an interest in the beauty industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Friendly and professional with strong communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized — always looking for tasks without waiting to be told
  • Fluent in English, with strong computer, typing, and grammar skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and stay proactive in a busy salon
  • Must live in Toronto with TTC access (east end preferred)
  • Previous salon or customer service experience is an asset
  • Please note: We are not sponsoring candidates from outside Canada
Responsibilities
  • Greet every client warmly; offer beverages and snacks to colour clients
  • Manage phones, bookings, rescheduling, and client checkouts
  • Support salon cleanliness (laundry, bathrooms, shampoo area, retail shelves, stairs, etc.)
  • Restock back-bar and retail, monitor supplies, and assist with product ordering
  • Follow daily cleaning and closing checklists
  • Support Green Circle Salon recycling program (bins, shipments, pickups)
  • Enforce salon policies (including cancellation policy) professionally
  • Bonus: Assist with social media engagement and photography
