We are now looking for a Practice Administrator to be able to assist with and be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the clinical team. Previous experience within a GP Practice would be an advantage but is not essential.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a courteous and friendly demeanour
  • 1 years’ Experience using SystmOne.
  • Excellent IT skills and solid knowledge Microsoft Outlook experience (Excel, Word, Outlook emails, etc.).
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a professional manner.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and well as proficient written and spoken English

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system
  • Process personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments
  • Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls, or dealing with the callers’ requests appropriately
  • Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members, and external agencies
  • Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required
  • Manage all queries as necessary in an efficient manner
  • Monitor and maintain the reception area and notice boards
  • Provide general administrative support such as scanning, copying, supporting clinical team, etc
    Working 10 hours per week with the opportunity to cover holiday and sickness
    The role will give you a high level of exposure to many administrative tasks as you work closely with the practice team.
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £12.21 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
