Description

Maintaining and monitoring the Practice appointments system on SystmOne. Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional. Taking messages and passing on information Filing/Scanning and retrieving paperwork Processing repeats prescriptions in accordance with Practice guidelines Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with Practice procedures Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team members and associated healthcare agencies and providers Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms as required Providing clerical assistance as required including word/data processing, filing, photocopying and scanning Monitoring of stationery/clinical room and other supplies Accepting and documenting samples from patients Assisting secretary with typing referrals and other documentation when required Supporting when patients or clinical staff request a chaperone Assisting with spot cleaning of the premises as and when required to ensure that all patient areas are presentable throughout the day Ensuring building security, closing doors, windows and shutters at the end of the day
