Description

Sherwood Buick GMC is seeking a responsible Receptionist with a friendly attitude and positive energy. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and be an active team player.
We’re looking for someone who has a flexible schedule and would be available afternoon/evenings and weekends.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all guests that come into the dealership
  • Direct guests to correct employee/department
  • Answer, track, and direct calls coming in through a multi-line phone system
  • Take cash, cheque, and credit payments along with issuing receipts
  • Database clean-up and maintenance
  • Tracking company loaner vehicles, license plates, and gas cards (in/out)
  • Maintain stationery and coffee station inventory
  • Other administrative tasks as requested
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment throughout the showroom

Requirements

  • Punctual
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Reception and/or dealership experience preferred
  • Ability to work and connect with people from all backgrounds and age ranges
  • Ability to lift and carry 30lbs
