Description

Summit Truck Equipment specializes in Rival and Foremost equipment along with many other great Hydrovac brands. We provide mobile and in shop services including repairs, scheduled maintenance and warranty campaigns. With a large supply of parts and equipment in stock, we proudly serve a large area surrounding both Ontario and Alberta, Canada.
We are looking for a Full-Time Receptionist for a term of at least 3 months. Our ideal candidate is a keen multitasker with strong teamwork skills, and an overall positive and helpful attitude.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as an Receptionist or similar role
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to proofread internal documents
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • A good memory and be a quick learner
  • Excellent time management
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs etc)
    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive at the office and direct to the appropriate person
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, e-mail and general correspondence
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Collect mail daily
  • Maintain and monitor office supply inventory and place orders as required
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • File management, both physical and electronic
  • Any other duties as assigned by management
