Job Description The post-holder will be a part of the reception team. They will be part of a reception front of house team responsible for the effective running and workload in the reception and report to the Deputy Manager/ Practice Manager. Job Responsibilities Dealing with patients requests via the telephone and face to face Booking appointments with clinicians Co-ordinate emergency doctors requests Workflow and all relevant administration tasks within reception Faxing, handing mail, emailing and sending letters to patients Completing prescription requests Flexibility of working hours is essential for this role as you may be asked to cover at short notice Skills and experience Previous experience in a similar role within a GP or hospital setting is desirable. Having Systm one experience would be an advantage Having a self motivated and forward thinking approach Excellent organisational, planning skills and IT skills Excellent and effective communication skill
