JOB DESCRIPTION
As a receptionist, you will be the face and voice of the charity and will be able to cultivate good relationships with new and existing supporters, adopters and customers. You will have good communication skills both verbally and in writing and enjoy talking to the public. As a receptionist of an animal charity, you will need to be empathetic to different situations and be confident in providing or seeking advice.
The ideal candidates for this position will have a passion for animal welfare and will have previous experience in an administrative and reception role.
· Answering the phone and dealing with enquires
· Greeting visitors to The Centre and finding the appropriate staff member for appointments.
· Replying and following up on emails
· Scheduling appointments when necessary
· Handling of money from donations or goods sales
· General day to day running of the reception including maintaining the reception area, keeping it clean, stocking the product shelves and sorting donations
· Other administrative duties as required
· Previous experience in a receptionist role is essential.
· Administrative experience including familiarity with Microsoft office.
· An understanding of basic animal welfare needs.

· This role requires onsite working at CRRC’s centre in Sidlesham, near Chichester
Job Type: Part time/permanent
Hours: 2 part days per week, Friday 9.30am-2.30pm and Saturday 10.00am -2.00pm.
You will also need to be flexible and be able to cover holiday days Monday to Thursday (9.30am to 2.30pm) when required
Salary: Minimum wage as per government guidelines.
