JOB BRIEF

The Cumberland Hotel Bournemouth is looking for an experienced Reception Agent to join our team.
You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a heart-warming welcome. You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests’ services.
As a receptionist, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude . Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proven work experience as a Receptionist
· Thorough knowledge of customer service and office management
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Good organizational and multitasking abilities
· Problem-solving skills
· High School diploma; additional certification is a plus

Responsibilities

· Assist Reception Supervisor in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
· Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
· Communicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operation
· Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
· Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
· Handle complaints and specific customers’ requests
· Other duties as assigned
