Our Brockenhurst home offers high-quality residential and dementia care for up to 40 residents. We’re now looking for an experienced, personable, and professional Weekend Receptionist/Administrator to be the welcoming face of our home.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the first point of contact, you’ll create a warm and professional welcome for all visitors, residents, and colleagues. This is a varied and busy role that blends front-of-house duties with essential administration tasks. You’ll need to be adaptable, organised, and able to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a friendly, calm approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
  • Answer telephone calls and emails promptly and courteously.
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
  • Distribute incoming post and manage outgoing mail.
  • Liaise with a variety of people, including residents, relatives, the CEO, Trustees, healthcare professionals, and contractors.
  • Maintain a tidy, organised reception area.
  • Support infection control, health and safety, and GDPR compliance.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks as required.
