Description Trout CPA, a full service public accounting firm, is seeking a Receptionist for our Lancaster office (Oregon Pike). The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors including clients and vendors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently. Schedule Options: Multiple part-time employees to cover full day shifts 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or One full-time employee to cover the week; Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff members. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing for delivery. Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars for staff. Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, sorting, and scanning of client documents. Maintain the reception and meeting areas, ensuring they are clean and organized. Assist in coordinating office supplies and replenishing stock as needed. Support the team with additional clerical duties as required. Coordinate in-office events/meals for employees and clients. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) or more years experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred, especially in a professional services environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment Previous experience with a CRM database is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize Professional appearance and attitude Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Friendly, customer-service oriented personality
