Responsibilities

As a Receptionist! you will be responsible for:

  • Provide a smooth and inspirational service to our clients and visitors.
  • To support and maintain reception services in a professional way which is recognized by the client and visitors for constantly providing an outstanding 5-star service and presentation
  • Assist and be the point of contact for customers, visitors and clients
  • Be fully knowledgeable about the building, the occupiers and services in the area
  • Ensue knowledge of the site; knowing the opening hours of respective facility, exhibitions and ensuring day to day knowledge of the events taking place in the building.
  • To maintain and operate the main reception desk and any other tasks related to this area.
  • Comply with all required systems and protocols including FOH Manual, Assignment Instructions, emergency procedures as stipulated by Wilson James and Francis Crick Institute.
  • To comply with any administration or reporting processes requested by Front of House Manager and Wilson James management team
  • Assist Front of House Manager in developing and reviewing site procedures, specific for Front of House.
  • Provide administrative support to Front of House Manager as directed.
  • Report & liaise on a daily basis with the Front of House Manager, the teams across the site and the client representative to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the management of a professional service.
  • To greet all visitors promptly, completing all related reception/security procedures and offering all appropriate services to ensure guests experience a pleasant visit.
  • Receiving guests, announcing them and escorting them to the waiting area, lift or meeting room if requested.
  • Ensure all visitors are collected by their host from reception
