About the opportunity: As the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This position provides courteous reception and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at our aged care home. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting and assisting residents, families, and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner. Managing incoming calls and inquiries promptly and efficiently. Supporting the Service Manager with general administrative tasks. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Coordinating office supplies and ensuring the reception area is well-presented. What you’ll bring: You’re reliable, approachable, and have a genuine passion for helping others. To thrive in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (healthcare or aged care preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent time management and organizational skills. A warm, empathetic approach when interacting with elderly residents and their families. A commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
