Receptionist – Xiente (Philadelphia) The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for families, staff, visitors, and community partners at Xiente. The Receptionist ensures smooth daily operations by managing communication, assisting with administrative tasks, and maintaining a positive, service-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Greet visitors, families, and staff in a warm, professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries. Maintain visitor logs, sign-in procedures, and front-desk security protocols. Assist with scheduling, appointment reminders, and distributing information to families and staff. Support administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry. Receive and sort mail, packages, and internal documents. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Provide support to program staff, HR, and leadership as needed. Uphold confidentiality and follow all organizational policies, including HIPAA and child-safety requirements. Requirements Requirements & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage a busy front desk. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling tools).
