Compensation (Hourly - Straight Time): $20.00 / hour Job Description Summary: The Reconditioning Technician will perform mechanical inspections and light repair work on a wide variety of used vehicles to prepare them for retail sale. This is a fast-paced role ideal for technicians with general repair experience. Duties and Responsibilities Perform multi-point mechanical inspections on pre-owned vehicles Diagnose and complete light repairs including brakes, batteries, filters, fluids, bulbs, hoses, and belts Identify safety or drivability concerns and flag higher-level repairs for Service Advisors or Line Techs Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used Work efficiently to meet reconditioning cycle time targets and vehicle readiness deadlines Safely move vehicles between service, recon, and front-line areas Collaborate with service managers, advisors, and parts staff to streamline recon flow Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace Qualifications Minimum 1+ years of experience in general automotive maintenance or repair Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
