To perform the reconciliation of bank account statements and IFL ledgers. Allocation of breaks to other support teams for investigation. Daily and Monthly reporting. Trend analysis and proposal of new match rules in increase STP rates. Initiate balance sweeps. The role is based in Bangalore The role requires excellent communication & collaboration skills, problem solving skills and and flexibility. You should be comfortable with rapid pace of change in order to address all aspects of Reconciliations and effectively assess and address any scenarios, as and when they arise and proactively streamline and enhance workflows. Perform daily reconciliation of global bank accounts using GTMatch Initiate and conclude investigations during the course of daily activity Identification, allocation and periodic analysis of fees Enter Non automatic bank statements into the Reconciliation system Allocate unresolved breaks to support teams for review To review account balances and initiate balance transfers Perform intersystem cash reconciliations (spreadsheet based) Intraday matching to update cashflows in back office system Identify and resolve format issues and chase missing statements Analyse matching rates and propose new rules to increase STP Management of group and personal email inboxes Compilation and publication of daily and monthly reporting Liaise with Front Office and other support teams Assist the team with day-to-day tasks Comply with all applicable company, regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud. Ad hoc duties as required Qualifications Experience, Minimum 4 years working within a Bank, Financial or Payment Services Company Strong knowledge of the reconciliation process and proven record utilising both automated and manual comparison tools. Experience in match rule analysis and improvement Knowledge of operational risk and mitigation techniques Experience working with SWIFT MT940, MT950, MT900, MT910, MT942’s Qualification and Skills Graduate from finance or any business degree (preferable) Excellent team player and communicator Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritise, organise and multitask within stringent deadlines Strong problem solving abilities Determined, focused and enthusiastic Confident with a positive outlook Ethical with strong integrity Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly EXCEL)
