Our fantastic client is seeking two Reconciliation Specialists to join their cross-functional Finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. One specialist will work a Monday–Friday schedule, while the other will work Thursday–Monday to ensure seamless coverage seven days a week.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years in an administrative or customer service role required.
  • Accounting support or accounts receivable experience is an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Clear RCMP check is required.
  • Credit check required.

Base Salary: $50,000 – 60,000

  • Salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

The key job functions are:

  • Perform daily reconciliations by comparing bank transactions to merchant records.
  • Create merchant reports using financial data and custom in-house software.
  • Calculate merchant fees using transaction data and merchant contracts.
  • Communicating, monitoring, and adhering to financial controls and policies.
  • Building strong, cross-functional working relationships with other departments.
  • Preparing bank files as required.
  • Performing other financial and administrative duties as needed.
  • Cross-training within the finance group to support other functions.
  • Corresponding with merchants as required.
