Job Description We’re looking for a Reconciliation Manager to take ownership of the integrity and accuracy of our internal financial systems. In this role, you’ll oversee reconciliation processes delivered by our third‑party outsourcing partner while also leading a small offshore team to ensure high‑quality, timely outputs You’ll bring strong hands‑on experience in reconciliations, a sharp eye for control and data integrity, and the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes. Experience in automating or enhancing reconciliation workflows—ideally using technology‑led solutions—will help you drive meaningful operational improvements and strengthen our overall control environment What you’ll be doing: Overseeing outsourced cash and stock reconciliation activity and ensuring strong governance Building and developing an effective reconciliation oversight framework that leverages data and MI Managing high‑value and high‑risk breaks, ensuring accurate and timely resolution Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliation‑related queries Producing MI and reporting to support oversight, insight, and decision‑making Reviewing processes and identifying improvements to strengthen control and reduce errors Supporting the team in resolving day‑to‑day operational issues and maintaining excellent client service Providing guidance and direction to offshore resources to ensure consistent delivery Who we’re looking for: Experience in reconciliations within a senior or lead Middle Office or Operations role Knowledge of outsourced operating models and experience working with service providers Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and resolve complex issues Ability to challenge existing practices constructively and adapt to change Strong stakeholder management capability and collaborative working style Understanding of relevant regulations and the operational risk environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Working knowledge of CRD (Charles River), TLM (Smartstream) or Quasar (desirable) Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
